My Mission

I believe in the game of golf, and to the value golf provides for folks young too old.

I design courses and developments providing incredible golf experiences with landscapes which are efficient, sustainable and collaborative.

I write articles focussed on golf design, golf’s potential, courses, people and the future of the game.

I coach simple concepts and techniques which help golfers develop skills and lowers scores.

Sometimes, I still compete.

THE Bio

Born in Scotland and raised in Eastern Ontario, Oliver was first introduced to the game of golf at nine years old. He has been hooked ever since.

After moving to Canada in 1993, he soon became an accomplished junior, then amateur competitor. He grew up in Stirling, Ontario before attending the University of Guelph, attaining a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture degree in 2004.

In 2005, Oliver moved to Vancouver, BC, and turned professional. He has competed on numerous international and Canadian professional golf tours. Over a 15 year career, he has amassed over 50 professional wins, the largest being the 2014 Coupe Canada in Victoriaville, Quebec.

Oliver is a candidate for member with the EIGCA, a Tartan Program participant with the ASGCA, and a class “A" PGA of Canada member.

In addition to OLIVER TUBB DESIGN he often works in collaboration with the talented team from LOBB + PARTNERS.

For golf coaching he is a member of Genuine Golf in North Vancouver. Previously he has coached golf at Seymour Creek Golf Centre, the University Golf Club, Château Whistler Golf Club and the Hollyburn Country Club.

He continue to compete regularly and am annually ranked as one of Canada’s top golfers.

He is based in North Vancouver, BC and is married with two children.
